A Little Backstory
The original Suck My Caucus website debuted in 2001, the first Monday after President Bush took office. It was a spin-off Conk’s Zamma2000 website. Suck My Caucus later changed its name to TheCaucus.net, then to Conk! Politics, then to TalkStation, which went down in 2005. It was originally written by Chris Zammarelli. In 2003, Dan Filowitz came on as a writer as well.
In honor of the 2006 midterm election results, we’re resurrecting Suck My Caucus as a political humor blog. I had thought of calling it Suck Macaca, but since George Allen conceded, there’s no need to keep bringing that up.
